Made from a cozy 13.3oz. grey deadstock 100% Italian melton wool coating, this is a pair of pants meant to help you through the winters of New England. This wool is thick and soft to the touch, but if you are sensitive to wool these probably are not for you.

Wide-legged with a slightly barrel-shaped bottom, 2.5” width elastic waistband and patch pockets complete this cozy and fun shape. Very high rise will most likely cover belly button. Patch pockets straddle the side seams and are a fun utilitarian touch and a functioning drawstring helps to cinch the waist a bit more if you need…

Sizing: meant to fit with plenty of ease (I wear mine with long underwear or tights underneath.) For this elastic waist you want it to fit over your hips so that you can pull them up and down, please make sure elastic waist when stretched is equal to (or greater than) your hip/bum measurement at its widest point. I will include 2 extra inches of elastic in the waistband in case you find that you need a smidge extra ease or want to tighten it. (This requires a sewing machine or access to a tailor or helpful sewing pal…)

XS waistband fully stretched: 35”, relaxed: 26”
Small: fully stretched: 38”, relaxed: 27”
Medium: fully stretched: 40”, relaxed: 28.5”
Large: fully stretched: 48”, relaxed: 32”
XL: fully stretched: 50”, relaxed: 36”

The first two photos are a size medium, 28” inseam pant on a 5’7” human who typically wears a 28” waist in jeans sizing.
